We are looking for a Category Management Manager within the FMCG space.

In this position you will be a leader in developing channel plans and setting the strategy for MT (JBP) and TT channels with commercial and sales teams in order to deliver on sale targets, and ensure on perfect execution in off-trade channel. You will have an opportunity to set the budgeting & forecasting your own category products, create annual promotion plan & trade deal/ budget tracking by account and Trade Investment% control.

You will have to provide category insights to build the company’s business based on internal & external data (e.g., Nielsen, Ipsos, Kantar, EGG, and other data from the key accounts team) to ensure that they align with the global team and be able to implement in the Thailand market.

You have to be able to use the data in strategy plans, and grow relationships with local partners and business customers in these channels; MT, TT and CVS. Using the data to create master plans (promo calendar/wholesale program) and propose additional promotions to boost up off-take and distribution. You’ll then evaluate spending vs sale uplift to align with setting budgets (based on ROI approach).

Being a leader to lead all categories to achieve the most revenue and profitability. You need to know what the business gaps are and be able to improve the profitability of company volume within the country (revenue management). You have the opportunity and full authority covering end-to-end of exciting new projects in the company.

You will report directly to, and collaborate a lot with the Senior Commercial Management who are based in Thailand. With your high-level stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate with other teams, you will always have people nearby to give a 2nd opinion if you ever need it. The role is with a leading global brewing company and the office is located right in the center of Bangkok. If you love travelling for work, you will have an opportunity to travel outside of Thailand from time to time.
