Our Client is an established European Large Equipment Manufacturer in the Forest Products/Packaging industry who is looking for an experienced and independent account manager to support a large Japanese account across Asia Pacific

In this role you will act as the main representative of the business, focus on the customer’s corporate-level people and private business owner, provide information on best practices, negotiate corporate-level agreements, sort out unsettled issues, improve customer satisfaction and further develop win-win business partnership.

The successful candidate will report to the APAC Business Development Director and work very closely with the various Product Groups and Regional Sales Directors.

The role can be based anywhere in Asia, such as Japan, China or Singapore.

What You'll Need:

You will need to have at least 10 years expertise and experience of corporate account management in B2B of Capital Equipment

If you are from the paper, packaging or printing industry, that would be a bonus.

The successful candidate is a highly motivated and proactive person with a proven track record of dealing with demanding Japanese account across a region or globally.

The candidate should have an international mindset coupled with experiences working in a diversified environment.

As you will be dealing with a large Japanese entity across Asia Pacific, excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Japanese is mandatory.

You are customer focused with a strong financial acumen and a commercial business mindset

As the account has businesses across APAC, the Key Account Manager is required to travel extensively across Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand etc

Japanese nationals in Japan or outside of Japan is highly appreciated
