This company continue to break barriers in health-food product development with a range of sustainable and nutritional beverage products. Established in the 1990’s and entering the Asia Pacific market several years ago, they are now reaping the growth and market penetration that has been invested in for the past 4 years.
Their product range centered around sustainability in product sourcing and packaging, as well as being a genuine nutritional and tasty alternative to the mainstream beverage market. They are now on a mission to keep people healthy, help the communities who need them most and make sure the planet becomes healthier too.
In this role, you will have the autonomy and freedom to identify new sales and distribution channels in the Asia Pacific region, that can be opened or developed further to drive top line growth to this business. The product range and business already have excellent penetration in the European and Australian markets, the goal is to capitalize on the growing demand for nutritional and healthy products in Asia with a product portfolio that are already market leaders in other parts of the world.
You will work with business counterparts in Marketing, NPI, Innovation / R&D as well as outside marketing agencies and distribution partners to achieve the desirable outcomes.
Who we are looking for
You will have a successful track record in driving sales growth via channel and partnership development in Asia for a category of consumer products. Ideally, you will have worked for a high growth company where you have assumed control for the sales of a portfolio products that are new to the market. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit that is excited and energized by the responsibility and ownership of taking a new and innovative product portfolio to market.
Working with stakeholders and external partner to achieve sales and penetration driven outcomes will be essential in being successful in this position, similar experience will be highly advantageous.
If you have a passion for nutrition and healthy living, this will help you channel the same passion into your role given the nature of the product.
If you have beverage category experience this will be highly advantageous, however if you also have a successful business development track record within and consumer category and a passion for nutrition and entrepreneurial spirit, this will make up for not having direct product experience and will also be attractive as a potential candidate.
You will have the opportunity to make the Sales and Business Development function your own, with product penetration still being in its infancy in Asia there is a significant opportunity to be successful in this position for an ambitious candidate.
This position will reward competitively with a strong bonus structure aligned to sales and business development growth in Asia.
The role is based in Singapore with occasional travel to SE Asia countries.
This company have a hybrid working arrangement for the Asia sales office in Singapore.
