You will have been a procurement leader in a complex manufacturing supply chain environment, in which you will have successfully led teams and rolled out major improvement projects specifically in the area of buying operations that will have driven overall in improvements to the procure to pay (P2P) process and outcome for a high volume and high mix-manufacturing company.

This role will offer the opportunity to use all the skills you have acquired to lead the function and improvement agenda in a transformative and forward-thinking fortune 500 company.

The role will have several senior management reports globally all of whom are leading large-scale teams in Singapore, India, the UK, and the US. These teams respectively support global manufacturing operations in what is a time-sensitive, dynamic, and complex supply chain of high volume and high mix inventories. Given the nature of materials requirements and supply chain complexities, it makes this role very challenging and will give a seasoned leader a unique opportunity to drive companywide supply chain improvements.  

The role will work closely with the strategic commodity procurement group but not directly manage this function.

You will have come from a high volume and high mix buying environment and ideally have strong manufacturing experience with electronics industry exposure being highly desirable. As well as having skills and a leadership track record in buying operations, you will have a good appreciation of and understanding of the wider supply chain including materials management, inventory management, supply dynamics, strategic procurement, and demand management. Team management and the ability to manage multiple reports globally is also a key requirement. 

This is a high profile and challenging role and a very rare opportunity to lead a major change in this pivotal corporate function.
