Senior Logistics Operations Manager

This is a $20bn USD business, employing 20,000 employees across the globe having a heritage in the electronics industry spanning 50+ years with a global head office based in Singapore.

This position will drive third party logistics providers towards effective service level achievements, warehouse capacity planning, productivity improvement and space optimization in the face of changing dynamic of demand and supply. In the role, externally, you will be strategically engaging 3PLs to ensure continuous improvement. The successful candidate will work with internal stakeholders across all departments including manufacturing, production control, order management, trade, supply chain, quality, finance, building strong relationship and an understanding of their function for the agenda to be taken to the external market.

To be considered for this role, you will have minimum 12 years relevant logistics operations experience in a fast-paced manufacturing/work centre environment. It is important you have a strong ability to manage 3rd party logistics providers and drive performance improvements to meet logistics quality management standards. It will be expected that you seek out opportunities to drive technology/automation capabilities, process and productivity improvements.

This is a key role in the overall business, with a high level of profile and sponsorship reporting through to Logistics Manufacturing Operations Director.
