This business is iconic within the semi-conductor eco system with an expansive global footprint, currently riding the wave of the semi-conductor industry boom. As a result of rapid investment and growth and a supply chain transformation a new centrally located global supply chain task force is being set up to strategically safeguard supply continuity in the face of a changing global supply environment and supporting the business as they undergo rapid capital investment to support future growth. This is a $20bn USD business, employing 10,000 employees across the globe having a heritage in the electronics industry spanning 70+ years with a global head office based in Singapore.
This position will take an oversight of the businesses entire supply network and strategically develop business continuity plans in the face of changing dynamic of demand and supply across each category and commodity. In the role, the successful candidate will work with internal stakeholders across all departments including R&D, Engineering, NPI, Operations building strong relationship and an understanding of their function for the agenda to be taken to the external market. Externally, you will be strategically engaging category and commodity markets, supplier, and potential vendors to ensure best in class and a robust supply network.
To be considered for this role, you will have experience coming from a strategic procurement background in an environment with a complex supply network. It is important you will have demonstrated experience solving important business supply chain problems through use of a high level of commercial acumen, industry knowledge and creative problem-solving skills. It will be expected that you can demonstrate experience where you can share examples where you have been a key part of supply chain improvement, at times transformational.
These positions are unique, you will be part of a new team that has a high profile in the business solving genuine supply chain problems that have a genuine impact on the top line of the business. Experience we are looking for includes strategic sourcing, vendor and supplier management, strategic supply chain management, stakeholder engagement and commercial acumen.
