The Opportunity

As Commercial Director for Southeast Asia, you will be reporting directly to the President, taking on a critical leadership role in one of the company’s most exciting and rapidly growing markets. You will be responsible for driving revenue, implementing go-to-market and business development strategies, and leading the commercial activities across the region. Your success will be defined by your ability to bring commercial excellence to the business while working closely with country-level commercial leaders and building strong partnerships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regional go-to-market strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Lead business development efforts to identify and capitalize on new opportunities within the food ingredients space.
  • Indirectly manage and guide commercial heads in multiple Southeast Asian countries, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Foster a culture of commercial excellence, promoting best practices across the organization.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key regional clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activities, and customer insights to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, R&D, and technical teams to bring innovative products to market. 


About You:

  • Minimum 10 years of senior-level commercial experience within the B2B food ingredients or nutrition industry, ideally across multiple Southeast Asian markets.
  • Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and market expansion in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • MBA or related qualification is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of the cultural nuances and business practices across Southeast Asia.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • A strategic thinker who is hands-on and adaptable to changing market conditions.
