We are partnering with a well-established logistics organization to hire a Haulage & Transport Manager to oversee transportation and logistics operations across container haulage and forwarding activities. The role is based in Singapore.
This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day transport operations, ensuring efficient movement of FTL and LTL shipments, maintaining high service levels for customers, and driving operational improvements across the logistics network.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily haulage and transport operations, ensuring smooth execution of container movements.
- Ensure efficient handling and delivery of FTL and LTL shipments while maintaining strong service standards.
- Coordinate closely with warehouse, forwarding, and operations teams to support end-to-end logistics workflows.
- Monitor and drive performance against operational KPIs such as delivery timelines, cost efficiency, and service reliability.
- Identify and implement operational improvements and cost optimization initiatives across transport and logistics activities.
- Manage relationships with transport vendors, carriers, and service providers, including rate negotiations.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of operations staff and supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore transportation regulations and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics operations, with strong exposure to container haulage and transportation operations.
- Good understanding of LTL and FTL shipping processes and freight forwarding operations.
- Familiarity with Singapore LTA transport regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
