Our client is a leading Consumer Appliances MNC on an excitable brand mission to grow in Asia. As part of these growth plans, the Philippines has been identified as a growth market for this region. This is the first hire for Indonesia, with an important objective of managing the local distributor partner in achieving sales excellence and reach for revenue growth.
This role is based in Manila, Philippines.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead Distributor Success: Drive a distributor-focused market strategy aligned with overall goals to maximize revenue in this channel.
- Forge Profitable Alliances: Collaborate with distributors and key retailers to identify sales initiatives that boost profitability within the distributor network.
- Orchestrate Distribution Excellence: Oversee all aspects of the distribution market segment, ensuring smooth operations in sales, distribution, logistics, and customer service.
- Market Launch Catalyst: Partner with marketing to ensure successful introductions of products and activities through the distributor channel.
- Optimize Trade Investment: Collaborate with distributors to ensure efficient use of trade spending, maximizing the return on investment.
- Informative Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on the performance of the distributor market segment to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Future-Oriented Vision: Continuously monitor trends and technologies impacting the distribution market, recommending strategic adoption for a future-proof strategy.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Sales, Key Account or Distributor Management positions in FMCG or Consumer Electronics and Appliances industries
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful strategy to drive revenue growth
- Strong understanding of the Indonesian retailer landscape, industry trends and competitor strategies
