Role Overview:
- Oversee projects from concept to production, aligning technical and marketing needs.
- Design product architecture, manage CAD/CAE, and prototype development.
- Work with design teams and vendors on manufacturability.
- Conduct testing, manage IP, document key decisions, and report to leadership.
- Mentor staff, provide engineering expertise, and lead complex technical solutions.
What we need from you:
- 8+ years in Design Engineering from multinational manufacturing of automotives, plastics, stainless or fashion
- 3+ years in managing a design engineering team
- Skills: Expertise in 2D/3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred), plastics or related manufacturing (injection molding required), DFMEA, and validation/testing.
- Knowledge: Multi-component assemblies, metal fabrication, and FEA analysis (ANSYS preferred).
- Collaboration: Worked with global Marketing and Industrial Design teams.
- Fluent in English, strong communication skills, and willing to travel
