Position Title: Head of Finance & HR

Position Summary:
Our client, a leading multinational chemical manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Head of Finance & HR to join their leadership team in the Philippines. This dual-function leadership role will oversee the financial operations of the local entity while also providing strategic HR leadership and ensuring smooth administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the finance function including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
- Analyze business operations, financial trends, and variances to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with both local and international accounting standards, regulations, and internal audit requirements
- Partner with business managers and regional leadership to drive financial accountability and efficiency
- Supervise and review country-level management reporting and KPIs
- Provide leadership in HR-related activities including recruitment, performance management, compensation & benefits, and talent retention
- Support workforce planning and alignment with corporate HR strategies
- Maintain strong understanding of Philippine labour laws and apply HR best practices
- Ensure governance and statutory compliance for all corporate reporting requirements
- Oversee office administration and internal support functions
- Participate in regional finance and HR transformation projects
Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance and Accounting; ACCA or equivalent certification preferred
- 10–15 years of experience in finance roles, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Strong audit background and understanding of both local and international accounting standards
- Experience in HR management and familiarity with local labour laws
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- People management and team leadership experience
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgment
