An established international provider of diagnostic technologies is seeking a capable and commercially driven Country Manager to lead its Thailand operations. This leadership role is accountable for the full spectrum of business activities – overseeing sales, technical service, customer success, marketing, and administrative functions – while ensuring strong alignment with regional strategy and global objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure the achievement of commercial and operational objectives in Thailand.
• Fully accountable for the country’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Lead revenue generation through both direct and indirect sales channels; support the team in achieving sales targets and expanding market presence.
• Strengthen relationships with distribution partners while progressively evaluating opportunities for direct-to-market approaches.
• Oversee technical and after-sales service delivery, ensuring high-quality support and customer satisfaction.
• Coach, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team; ensure alignment with organizational values and high standards of execution.
• Ensure all local activities adhere to applicable regulatory standards and align with corporate governance policies.
• Work closely with regional management, supply chain, finance, and global business units to align local strategy with international initiatives.
Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in medical devices, in vitro diagnostics, or scientific instrumentation, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing both direct teams and third-party distributor relationships.
• Deep understanding of the Thai diagnostics or healthcare technology market.
• Hands-on leadership style with a strategic mindset and strong operational discipline.
• Fluent in both Thai and English.
