About the Role We are partnering with a leading global ingredients organisation to appoint a Sales Manager specialising in Sugar Reduction for the Middle East region. This role will drive commercial growth across a strategic, high-demand portfolio including sweeteners, sugar alternatives, fibres, and specialty ingredient solutions.
The position is based in Dubai and will manage customers across the GCC and wider MEA region, with a strong focus on building relationships, developing new business, and promoting technical solutions within the sugar reduction space.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the sugar reduction portfolio across the Middle East.
- Manage key customer accounts while identifying and converting new business opportunities.
- Understand customer challenges and collaborate with technical and application teams to provide tailored solutions.
- Deliver strong in-market execution by driving commercial activities, customer visits, trials, and presentations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and category developments to support strategic decision-making.
- Work cross-functionally with technical, marketing, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management.
Requirements
- Proven B2B sales experience within food & beverage ingredients.
- Strong knowledge of sweeteners, sugar reduction systems, fibres, or texturising/specialty ingredients.
- Confident commercial approach with the ability to work autonomously in a customer-facing role.
- Ability to understand technical product applications and communicate value to customers.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a proactive, results-driven mindset.
- Willingness to travel across the region.
