Director – Commercial Technology Transformation
 
The Director for Commercial Technology Transformation will be a strategic business partner responsible for enabling commercial growth through the deployment and integration of technology solutions across Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Growth Management (RGM). This role will lead the development and execution of a digital roadmap designed to enhance route-to-market capabilities, optimize trade spend, improve customer engagement, and unlock growth through data and automation. The ideal candidate combines commercial acumen with deep knowledge of sales and marketing technologies, and will work closely with both regional business units and global IT.

 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, evolve, and lead the regional commercial technology strategy, aligning with global priorities and adapting to local market requirements.
  • Deploy and scale tools and systems such as Salesforce (CRM), Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO), RGM platforms, Martech solutions, and B2B/B2C enablement technologies.
  • Act as the primary liaison between commercial business units (Sales, Marketing, Finance) and the technology organization, translating commercial needs into digital solutions.
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of system implementations, including vendor selection, requirement gathering, solution design, testing, rollout, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee data governance, systems integration, and adoption metrics to ensure full value realization of commercial technology investments.
  • Drive change management and user engagement initiatives to support successful adoption of new tools across commercial teams in multiple countries.
  • Leverage data and insights to improve trade spend efficiency, brand activation performance, and customer segmentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in commercial transformation, sales operations, marketing technology, or trade systems within FMCG, Retail, or CPG sectors.
  • Proven experience deploying commercial systems at scale across Asia Pacific or similar regions.
  • Strong understanding of revenue growth management frameworks, digital customer experience, and trade promotion analytics.
  • Experience with platforms including Salesforce, SAP TPM, NielsenIQ, Adobe Marketing Cloud, or equivalents.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills in a matrixed global organization.
