Head of Customer and Strategy
We are seeking a visionary and data-driven leader to join the retail company as the Head of Customer and Strategy. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for leveraging customer insights, analytics, and technology to drive growth, optimize customer experiences, and develop innovative strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer analytics, customer segmentation, market research, and strategic planning within the retail industry. You will lead a talented team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and shape the future of our customer-centric initiatives
- Develop and execute the customer science and strategy roadmap, aligning it with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Lead a team of analysts and strategists, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Define and implement customer segmentation strategies, utilizing data analytics and insights to identify customer behavior patterns and preferences.
- Conduct in-depth customer analysis, leveraging advanced analytics techniques, and transforming data into actionable insights to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and product development, to drive data-informed decision-making and customer-centric initiatives.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of personalized marketing strategies, leveraging customer data and predictive modeling to optimize targeting and campaign effectiveness.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer surveys to identify market trends, opportunities, and potential areas for differentiation.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify and implement data analytics tools, platforms, and infrastructure to support customer analytics and insights generation.
- Present insights, findings, and strategic recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, effectively communicating complex concepts and driving strategic alignment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, data science, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.
- Proven experience at least 10 years in customer analytics, market research, or strategic planning within the retail industry.
- Strong expertise in customer segmentation, customer behavior analysis, and data-driven insights generation.
- Proficiency in utilizing advanced analytics tools, statistical modeling techniques, and data visualization platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in driving customer-centric strategies and initiatives that result in measurable business impact.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, foster collaboration, and drive innovation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences and influence key stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of retail industry dynamics, market trends, and competitive landscape.
