A global financial services company are seeking a highly motivated IT Application Manager. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations for the company’s core applications and ensuring that they are running efficiently and effectively.
You will also need to implement emerging technologies into the business – such as RPA, IOT, Machine Learning & AI etc… Thereofore you should be passionate about new technology & keen to lead a digital transformation journey!
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion the delivery of world-class application services to support business goals
- Drive the design, implementation, and management of company applications
- Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues to ensure smooth operations
- Serve as a bridge between the IT department and other business units to gather requirements and provide recommendations for new applications
- Analyze application performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Empower users with the training and support they need to get the most out of applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven track record of managing applications in a financial services environment, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Strong understanding of application development and management principles
- People management skills (e.g. performance reviews etc…)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Passionate about technology and innovation, with a drive to stay ahead of the curve
