About Trade Marketing position:
The Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for formulating and implementing trade marketing strategies aimed at enhancing brand visibility and driving sales through both retail and e-commerce channels. This role requires close collaboration with sales and marketing teams to devise impactful promotions and merchandising initiatives that boost customer traffic and conversion rates.
- Develop and implement trade marketing strategies and programs to amplify brand visibility and drive sales through retail and e-commerce channels.
- Collaborate with sales teams to create effective merchandising and promotional plans that align with brand strategy and customer requirements.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key retail and e-commerce partners, collaborating to boost sales and expand market share.
- Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Manage trade marketing budgets and track performance metrics to ensure the achievement of ROI targets. Monitor and evaluate promotional campaigns pre and post-trade marketing to optimize outcomes.
- Establish a channel-specific pricing structure to ensure market share gains without pricing conflicts.
- Develop and deliver sales training programs to educate retail and e-commerce partners on the features and benefits of our products.
- Work closely with internal marketing teams to maintain brand messaging consistency and visual identity across all trade marketing initiatives.
- Attending industry trade shows and events to stay abreast of industry trends while fostering relationships with potential partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade marketing or a related field, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Extensive knowledge of the retail and e-commerce landscape, including an understanding of customer needs and the competitive landscape.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful trade marketing strategies and programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, utilizing data to make informed decisions.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail, consistently delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
