A prestige US skincare brand is looking for a Travel Retail Director in Hong Kong/Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Build long term partnership and trust with travel retailers in all levels to gain their support over key competitors
- Ensure perfect implementation of the marketing plan by negotiating excellent locations in key animation months.
- Manage & monitor retail sales weekly and drive action plans if needed.
- Based on ambitious retail targets, align on objectives with each retailer, to build a monthly sales & stock plan.
- Propose newness with suggested quantity to each retailer every quarter.
- Review customer monthly orders to ensure key items are well covered.
- Ensure flawless merchandising/planogram within the distribution
- Build & negotiate strong trade plan by month by customer in line with TR regional strategy.
- Recruit the best Field & BA team.
- Manage, coach & motivate the field team
- Prepare & manage budget & expenses twice a year, to be in line with
- Weekly and monthly report on brand, market and competitors’ performance. Propose winning strategy & to gain market share. Keep close eye on key competitor’s activity to inspire new opportunities for to gain competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified with 8+ years experience in travel retail space ideally from a beauty background.
- Sharp business acumen in making business decisions with strategic thinking with a global business review.
- Solid analytical sales & meticulous with numbers.
- Sales driven and results oriented.
- Sound people and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in English and Chinese.
- Can be based in Hong Kong or Singapore.
