Connexus are thrilled to be working exclusively with an incredibly fast growing FMCG multinational who are expanding into the APAC market, on a newly created role – the first such hire in Asia for the business. The VP of Supply Chain and Manufacturing will be responsible for the creation and scaling for the end-to-end Supply Chain across the region, and will be building a team from 0, scaling at huge pace, and developing the region alongside commercial teams as the business continues their incredible growth. This business has grown incredibly quickly in a short space of time, and is expanding at a fantastic scale. This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain and Manufacturing leader to develop and build something from 0, and truly have ownership for the entire APAC region.
The Role:
– Build the company Supply Chain in APAC region; identify 3rd party manufacturers and develop Supply Chain processes across the region as the business enters new APAC markets
– Recruit and scale the Supply Chain team with multiple Directors reporting in
– Establish robust Planning, Logistics, Customer Service and S&OP processes
– Provide regional expertise to teams in Europe and US to support in business growth
– Develop roadmap for Supply Chain scaling and digitization for the region in line with global strategies
– Work alongside the team on innovation and commercialization of products within the APAC region
The successful candidate will have:
– Strong history of end-to-end Supply Chain strategy leadership
– Very strong Manufacturing/Operations experience, ideally both hands-on manufacturing and 3rd party manufacturer sourcing and management
– 10+ years in the FMCG industry, ideally in Food/Beverages, with strong expereience and knowledge of the APAC market
– Strong experience scaling Supply Chain processes and building teams at fast pace
– Highly agile and adaptable, able to work within a fast growth environment
– Be prepared to be hands on whilst building the team as the first APAC Supply Chain hire
