Electrical Service Engineer – Manufacturing Machinery
Location: Japan (Remote)
Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a new growth opportunity?
Our client is a European leading manufacturer for the paper and packaging industry. The clients are committed to delivering exceptional value to their customers which is why they are looking for a talented electrical service engineer to join their team.
You will be focusing on PLC, drives and control systems. The company is a large MNC with over 50% market share in the packaging industry and is currently using Siemen and Lenze PLC.
You will be a part of their team for an upcoming project in Japan starting next year, where you will be responsible for the installation of the project, which is estimated to last around 3 months. After the installation stage you will be required to provide regular service and maintenance checks for their customers.
The position is located remotely in Japan unless carrying out projects which will require travelling around the Asia Pacific region to support oversea projects in countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, India, and Malaysia.
Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Collaboration with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Train customers on the operations, maintenance and spare parts knowledge of the machines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Proven experience as a service engineer of a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, related hardware, Siemens PLC with S5, S7 and TIA control.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good business English and fluent in Japanese

必要な資格： 電気工学または関連分野の学士号。 同様の役割のサービスエンジニアとしての実績。 電気システム、関連ハードウェア、Siemens PLCのS5、S7、およびTIA制御に関する強力な知識。 独立しておよびチーム環境で働く能力。 ビジネス英語が堪能で、日本語が流暢であること。
