Senior Sales Strategy & Business Development Manager/Director, Consumer Appliances

Our client is a leading Consumer Appliances MNC (global revenue of XXbillion USD) on an excitable brand mission to grow in Asia. As part of these growth plans, South Korea is a key market they have identified and are seeking an experienced and strategic sales leader to evolve and enhance the sales capabilities and revenue growth of the business in South Korea. 

This role is based in Seoul, South Korea. 

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and execute a cohesive distribution market strategy for the business.
  • Work closely with distributors and relevant stakeholders to identify and prioritize sales initiatives aimed at boosting market revenue.
  • Studying the market to identify new potential business channels and revenue streams. 
  • Foster strong relationships with key retailers through annual Joint Business Planning (JBP) alongside distribution partners to maintain a competitive market position
  • Drive retail execution excellence and conduct sales training for distributor partners to enhance performance.
  • Analyzing distributor’s PnL to optimize trade spend and sales capability.

If you are…

  • 10+ years of sales experience in the Consumer Goods, FMCG or Consumer Electronics industry.
  • Experience working with distributors or ecommerce partners is necessary,
  • Strong track record in driving sales and revenue growth with winning sales strategies 
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, strong command of both English and Korean
